Office Clean Checklist

This checklist details the services provided for general office cleaning, ensuring a clean and productive workspace.

Reception Area

Dust and wipe all surfaces, including the reception desk and seating area

Vacuum carpets or sweep and mop hard floors

Clean and sanitize door handles, light switches, and high-touch points

Empty trash bins and replace liners

Clean glass doors and interior-facing windows

Kitchen/Breakroom

Clean and disinfect countertops, sinks, and tables

Wipe interior and exterior of appliances (microwave, fridge, coffee maker)

Empty trash and recycling, replace liners

Sweep and mop floors, including under furniture

Refill paper towels, soap, and disposables (if stocked on-site)

Workstations

Dust and disinfect desks, keyboards, and monitors (excluding private documents)

Wipe and sanitize phones, headsets, and shared equipment

Vacuum under desks and clean floor mats

Tidy and manage visible cables and cords

Empty trash bins and replace liners (if provided by client)

Bathrooms

Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, countertops, and dispensers

Refill toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels

Polish mirrors and sanitize handles and switches

Sweep and mop floors, ensuring deep clean around fixtures

Empty trash bins and replace liners

Meeting Rooms

Dust and clean tables, chairs, and presentation surfaces

Sanitize shared tools (e.g., remote controls, phones, whiteboard markers)

Vacuum carpets or sweep/mop floors

Clean windows and any interior glass partitions

Restock basic meeting supplies (if provided by client)

Final Touches

Ensure all common areas are neat and presentable

Turn off lights and secure doors (if required)

Leave a cleaning checklist for client review

Heavy furniture or appliance moving
Outdoor areas or trash

Detailed organizing
Post-construction or event cleaning, or
Excessive buildup requiring restoration-level work
Deep upholstery or furniture cleaning
High dusting above 6 ft
Blinds
Interior appliance cleaning (e.g., inside fridge or microwave)
Trash removal from exterior areas
Mold/hazardous cleanup
IT or cable management beyond surface organization, or
Restocking supplies unless directly provided.

Estimated duration per square footage (1 cleaner):

Up to 1,000 sq ft: 2 hrs
1,001–1,500 sq ft: 2.5 hrs
1,501–2,000 sq ft: 3 hrs
2,001–2,500 sq ft: 4 hrs
2,501–3,000 sq ft: 5 hrs
3,001–3,500 sq ft: 6 hrs

With 2 cleaners, time is split. If the allotted time is not sufficient due to buildup, clutter, or unique conditions, the cleaner will help prioritize or recommend additional time. Add-ons may require extra time and must be approved in advance.
